I’m trying to write a one-shot, but I’m getting fuck all done.

I’ve been going at it for three days and I’ve gotten down a page. Of shitty, clumsy text that doesn’t flow. It’s not like I’m not used to writing sexy times, it’s just that it doesn’t seem to come together (probably no pun intented). I’m not even seeing it like I usually do when writing really anything. I see a scene like a film and then I just write it. Now it’s just like then he did this and then she did that. Where the fuck has my mojo gone?

I know I should just write it as badly as it comes out and edit later, but if I already know that by editing I would mean re-writing the whole shit, then what’s the point.

i don’t get the point

maybe tea will help

Spoiler alert: it won’t.

But I might still try.

School & planning

As you may well know I have been unemployed for a decent while now. It’s really hard to find a job where I live. This is a small town with relatively high unemployment percentage, so basically anywhere you apply, there are about a hundred other applicants who are not necessarily better qualified, but have better job resume than I.

So I applied to study another degree and I got in! School starts at the end of this month and I am surprisingly excited about it. I’m going to be a mining engineer by the end of 2017, if all goes well. I’ve already bought myself a new bag for the school and will buy some stationary too. I’ve also browsed for new planner inserts for 2017 (yes i know i’m early) because I’m a terrible planner addict and also I feel like I want to buy something.

I’m probably going to wait until like October with the new inserts so I can see all the things Kikki.K will have to offer (love their inserts and products!) and also if Filofax puts up something new. They already have 2017 inserts available, and I’ve been thinking if I should try my hand on the daily inserts. Mainly to keep track of my eating and excercising. I mean I could do it just by logging everything down on the weekly view but that will undoubtedly make the weekly pages messy. And I’ve got school things like deadlines and all to keep track. So I think I might be able to utilize the daily pages as well.

To do that I might have to get rid of some of the other inserts I have now, because my planner would be too bulky with the daily inserts and all. I have now the Kikki.K Wellness planner inserts to keep track of my excercises, but they’ll run out by November, no matter how hard I try. So that would free up some space. And I wouldn’t have to keep all year of everything in the planner at once. Maybe the monthly pages for the whole year, but three months worth of weekly would suffice. And maybe a month of dailies.

I don’t know. I’m just very excited to start going to school again. I hope everything works out fine and I’ll be graduating in time.

Wish me luck!

I reached a milestone, or rather a goal on my running yesterday. When I started my running program and got so far as to actually believing I could run more than ten minutes without dying, I set a few goals for myself: to run for an hour and to run around the whole path I do my runs.

I reached the one hour goal about a month ago. It was a wonderful feeling. Then there were a lot of one hour runs and then the heatwave set in and I all but abandoned running for two weeks.

Yesterday the air had cooled down a bit due to very many consecutive thunderstorms in a few days so I went for a run and managed the second, final goal. I ran around the whole track. It took me one hour an 13 minutes, including the six minutes of walking before and after, so I did the seven kilometer track in one hour and one minute. I was rather surprised that it didn’t take longer, because I thought the route I’ve taken in the one hour runs was shorter. I guess not so much then.

My thighs hurt a bit but mate I’m so proud of myself. Up until the halfway point I kept telling myself I’m ok if I run as far as I can, seeing that I had ran so little during the past two weeks. After that I kept telling myself I’d never have to do this again if I didn’t want to. So I ran and I made it.

I think I will try it again, even tho I didn’t think I would. But that was yesterday and I was pretty knacked after I came home, so.

Yay me!
